✦Talent Tree
37 talents ◆ 4 branches ◆ Click to mark learned
0 / 37 learned
✦ Invest first points in Endurance (Toughguy T0), then Vitality before specialising. Tier 2 capstone talents are dramatically stronger — commit to one branch early for best results.
⚑Factions
Click reputation pips to set your standing
⚑ Reputation is tied to your specific game world. Earn Insignias from defeated enemies and sunk ships, and Letters of Favor from quests. Turn them in at Tortuga faction boards.

⚔Boss Checklist
XP comes only from Journal Quests and Site Clears — not enemy kills. Bosses gate biome progression and drop key rewards.
⚒Crafting Stations
Sorted by priority ◆ Click to mark built
0 / 8 built
⚒ All stations must be within your Bonfire radius. Breaking down any structure refunds 100% of materials — reposition freely with no penalty.
Damage types: Blunt counters heavy armor ◆ Slash best vs. unarmored ◆ Pierce for all firearms & rapiers Red-glint attacks must be dodged — they cannot be blocked. Perfect block breaks posture and opens a heavy attack window.
☯Food & Buffs
2 active buff slots ◆ Click Equip to activate
☯ Never eat the same dish twice — it wastes a slot. Pair a Max HP food with a combat-stat food, grog, or elixir — they all share the same 2 buff slots.
Basic meals: 15 min ◆ Rare/Epic: 30 min ◆ Grog: 30 min ◆ Elixirs: 15 min (30 min Infused).
Buffs clear on death and pause in safe zones. Toughguy "Fortitude" extends all durations by 50% and unlocks a 3rd slot.
Rum Bottle is a crafting ingredient only — used in Grog and Combat Repair Kit recipes, not consumed directly.
⚓Ships
Click a vessel to set as your current ship
⚓ Wind direction is not a mechanic — position for clean broadsides. Co-op roles: Helm ◆ Port Cannons ◆ Starboard Cannons. Use Combat Repair Kits on deck to patch hull damage during fights.

◆Naval Combat
Situation
Strategy
1v1 ship fight
Circle the opponent and fire full broadsides on each pass. Use a Combat Repair Kit between exchanges.
Boarding action
Approach from the side. Multiple crew board simultaneously — split the defenders.
Ketch vs. larger ships
Use your speed advantage. Circle tightly, fire and retreat. Never stand still.
12-pounders for speed, 24-pounders for raw damage. Upgrade via the Carpenter's Bench.

◆Ship Repair Items
Repair your ship on the water using consumable kits, or dock at a Wharf (cheapest method — costs only ~20 Wood per full repair). Build a Wharf with 10 Wood + 10 Coarse Fabric. Standard Repair Kits cancel if the ship takes any damage — bring Combat Repair Kits for active fights.
